Custom T-Shirt Design and Apparel Graphics That Print Clean

I’m Ivan. I do apparel design from my studio in the Valle di Muggio. For nearly 30 years, I’ve created clothing graphics. I work with small brands, teams, and shops. My projects range from a single tee to full collections.

The carousel above shows the kind of work you’ll find here: surf tees, kids' wear, and team kits. Everything starts as a pencil sketch, not a clip-art file.

What I Design

  • T-shirt Design and Custom T-shirt Design: for events, brands, staff, or merch. You receive unique art tailored for the shirt size and color.
  • Sportswear Design: cycling jerseys, running tops, and team kits. I align the panel shapes so the art fits perfectly on seams.
  • Full Apparel Design: I can create a small line with a consistent style across tees, hoodies, onesies, and hats.
  • Designer Apparel for Small Runs: ideal when you want something different from typical print-on-demand options.

How Ivan Works

  1. Send me the garment type and color.
  2. I’ll sketch 2–3 quick ideas for you. You choose one.
  3. I’ll create the final art and send printer files.
  4. You work directly with me, no back-and-forth with a junior designer.

Frequently Asked Questions

I ask who will wear it and where. Then I sketch by hand at actual print size. That way, I know the idea works before I open Illustrator.

Yes. I’ll create a main character or graphic system, then adapt it across tees, hoodies, and kids’ sizes so the line feels connected.

Seams and stretch. I design the pattern panels so logos don’t warp and numbers stay readable. I provide files your sublimation printer can use directly.

Yes. Screen gets spot-color separations. DTG gets high-res transparent PNGs. You tell me the print method, and I prep accordingly.

I test both. I build a light version and a dark version, and I adjust stroke weights so small details don’t disappear.

Absolutely. I simplify the art slightly for toddler sizes and keep the core character so the brand stays consistent.

It’s drawn, not assembled from stock. You get an original apparel design with a clear story, not just a trendy font on a blank.
