What I Make for Walls and Windows
This isn’t template work; each piece begins as a pencil sketch.
Event poster design: gigs, festivals, talks, fundraisers. It features a big headline, a clear date, and one strong image that reads quickly.
Shop poster design: window posters, sale signs, in-store promotions. I design for your actual print size, from A3 to A0.
Signboard design: info boards, wayfinding, menus, and educational panels. I keep type large and the layout simple.
Custom poster design: illustrated posters when you need a unique character or scene drawn for your message, not stock art.
How a Poster Gets Made Here
- What’s the job? You tell me where it hangs and what it needs to say from far away.
- Quick sketches. I draw 2–3 layouts by hand. We choose the one that’s easiest to read.
- Build. I create clean vector art and set the type for print. I check contrast for visibility.
- Test. I print a scaled proof and view it from ten feet. If it doesn’t work, I simplify.
- Deliver. You receive a print-ready PDF with bleed, plus a JPG for social media.

I start with the must-read info: what, when, where. I sketch the headline first, then build the image around it so the date doesn’t get lost.
Yes. I test contrast for both. For windows, I keep backgrounds simple and type bold so it reads through glass and glare.
I do. I design information panels, maps, and wayfinding. I use clear pictograms and large type built to be read while walking.
One central drawing, not five small ones. I draw a custom character or scene that fits your message, so it doesn’t look like stock.
Print PDF/X with bleed, plus a high-res JPG and PNG for web. If you need a version in Italian, German, or French, I can set that up too.
Simple posters are usually 3–4 working days after we lock the sketch. Multi-poster campaigns take a week or two. I’ll confirm the timing before we start.
